About the journal

The online scientific and practical journal "Intelligent Transport" (known as "Railway Science and Technology" until 2025) has been published quarterly by JSC NIIAS since 2017. Publication in the journal is free for authors. The journal is registered as an online periodical in the Scientific Electronic Library and was assigned the International Standard Serial Number ISSN 3033-6007 dated August 20, 2025.

The journal comprehensively covers the results of scientific research in the development, management, operation, and methods for evaluating the effectiveness of intelligent transportation systems.
The journal accepts fundamental and applied works and promotes the development of intelligent transportation system technologies for all modes of transport, including mathematical and software support for intelligent transportation systems, and methods and technologies of artificial intelligence and machine learning in the following specialties and related fields of science:

Identifying the scientific potential and strengthening the scientific standing of employees of JSC NIIAS, companies within the Russian Railways holding, transport enterprises and higher educational institutions, in accordance with the strategic directions for ensuring a unified state policy in the field of development and certification of scientific personnel.

Reflecting in open press and popularizing innovative and scientific-technical developments and results of research and development work

Organizing open scientific discussion that ensures the improvement of the quality of engineering and dissertation research in the field of transport, the effectiveness of peer assessment of scientific works, transparency and openness in reflecting the research agenda of organizations engaged in research and development activities.
